Implement support for hybrid video card
more and more the new laptop use a hybrid video card. If the current hardware detection script we are not able to install the correct drivers, but we fallback to the opensource one. In fact if the number of graphic cards is greater then 1 the non free installation process is completely skipped.
Looking in the hook, hwdetect_7_graphics we can read:
# check how many graphic cards exist; TODO: this is not # robust enough; it will also detect multiple Nvidia/AMD cards, which # gamers might use # it is needed to disable proprietary drivers when having # hybrid graphics; this is a WORKROUND and should be removed in further # releases CARD_NUMBER=$(lspci -v | grep VGA | wc -l) # number of graphic cards [ $CARD_NUMBER -gt 1 ] && NONFREE="no" [ -n "$NONFREE" ] || NONFREE="yes"
